Can we have our ceremony on the grounds of the Manor House? Yes! There are several perfect places on the grounds to have an outdoor wedding ceremony. Many couples use the courtyard area and waterfall as the backdrop for their ceremony. Other couples wed under a tent or the trees of the nearby gardens. Be creative; the grounds are yours for the day! Can you describe the different areas that are for rent? Yes, here is a link to a Rental Description you can refer to that describes the features of each rental area and here is a map of the facility. How many guests can the Manor House accommodate? The Performance Hall can comfortably accommodate up to 150-200 guests inside and 200-250 guests using the terraces and courtyard for additional dining. The two club rooms combined can accommodate up to 75 guests. Tents can be used for additional entertaining on the grounds. How far in advance should I book the Manor House for my event? We have a very busy wedding season that begins mid to late March and continues through the end of October so booking a date during this time should be done as soon as you know your date in order to ensure you get the date you’d like. May through August dates book the quickest. We are also flexible and can accommodate short notice with regard to weekday events! What do I have to do to reserve the manor for my event? A $500 security deposit holds your date for your event. In addition to the security deposit, half of the rental amount for the manor is due four weeks before your event and the remaining balance of the rental amount is due two weeks before your event. How much does it cost to rent the Manor House? Rental rates vary. Here is a link to a Price List you can refer to. Or call 32-EVENT for more details. What makes Deer Park Manor different from other venues? The best part about hosting an event at Deer Park Manor is that it feels like a private party! In addition to the beautiful Manor House you may also use the grounds for your event. Arrive in a hot air balloon or on a horse and carriage. There is plenty of free parking for your guests and our event coordinator is available to help with all the little details and surprises that will make your event extra special! Can we serve alcohol at our event? Yes. A licensed third-party bartender is available to serve the alcohol at your event. Can we play CDs for our event? What about hiring a DJ or band? The Manor House is equipped with two 5 CD players and an iPod connection. Speakers are located inside and outside of the manor. Do you have anything written on the history of the Manor House? The Manor House has a unique and interesting history. To see a written description click here. Can my guests leave their cars over night if they are carpooling after the event? Yes. Guests should be aware that the front gates to the Manor House close after the event and do not reopen until the next business day.
